NNIPA raises funds for Baniya

KATHMANDU: The Nepal National and International Players’ Association (NNIPA) on Friday donated Rs 33,000 for the treatment of former national team player Dinesh Baniya, who has been suffering from kidney ailment and needs transplantation. Baniya was the member of the Nepali team that took part in the 1991 and 1993 South Asian Federation (SAF) Games.

The NNIPA collected Rs 1,000 each from its members and added Rs 10,000 from the association. The NNIPA has also appealed the sportspersons and associations to contribute for Baniya’s treatment through its Siddhartha Bank account 004-045071C.
