KATHMANDU: Nepal Volleyball Association picked up the final 12-member squad for the 11th South Asian Games slated for January 29 to February 9 in Dhaka next year.

Saroj Shrestha and Jhom Bahadur Thapa of Nepal Police Club (NPC), and Kailash Dutta Bhatta and Sunil Kumar Shrestha of Nepal Armed Police Force (APF) Club found their places as the Open Spikers. Prem Bahadur Shahi and Sanjay Aryal of NPC along with Roman Shrestha of Mid-western Region were picked up as Quick Spikers.

NPC players Em Bahadur Magar and Bharat Bahadur Shah earned their places as Back Spikers while Khusi Chaudhary of APF and Ramananda Singh of NPC have been selected as the Lifters. Tahal Singh Thapa Magar of Western Region is the solo Libero of the team. Open spiker Bhola KC of Tribhuvan Army Club and quick spiker Dipendra Bhatta of Armed Police Force (APF) club were axed out from the squad.
