KATHMANDU: Budhanilkantha advanced to the semi-finals of the first Manmohan Memorial Open Basketball Tournament here on Wednesday.

In Group A, Budhanilkantha defeated Ballers 86-51 riding on Biraj Rana’s 18 points. Tribhuvan Army Club ‘A’ have already made it to the semi-finals as winners from the group.

In Group B matches, TAC ‘B’ and SDC Hounds registered victories.

TAC ‘B’ beat South Siders 88-69 riding on Siddhartha Maharjan’s 27 points, while Hounds edged past Xavier International 112-108 in extra time after both the teams were deadlocked at 100-all in regular period.
