DAMAULI: Diversity FC, Damauli is organising a district-level Open Seven-A-Side men’s football tournament in Damauli of Tanahun district from Tuesday.

30 teams will participate in the tournament, informed Diversity FC chair NJ Oli, adding that the winner of the competition will take home Rs 111,111 while the runner-up will receive Rs 50,555, along with medals, trophies and certificates.

According to the organisers, Man of the Match will be announced from the semifinal games onward and presented with prizes.

Similarly, Sanima Life Insurance will provide an insurance of Rs 500,000 to the best player of the tournament.

Byas Municipality chief Baikuntha Neupane will inaugurate the tournament.

Diversity FC, Damauli and Mandredhunga, Gorkha will play the inaugural game.
