Palace beats Stoke 2-1 with late winner in EPL

STOKE: Crystal Palace substitute Lee Chung-yong scored in the 88th minute in a 2-1 Premier League victory at Stoke on Saturday.

The Eagles took the lead in first-half stoppage time through a penalty from Connor Wickham, his first goal for the club, after Glenn Whelan had fouled Wilfried Zaha.

Another penalty gave Stoke the equalizer when Bojan Krkic converted after Damien Delaney handled inside the area.

Palace is unbeaten in four league matches and challenging for a top-four place in what could be a breakthrough season in Alan Pardew's first full campaign back in charge of the team.
