KATHMANDU: Captain Paras Khadka played a blinder as defending champions Team Chauraha Dhangadhi comprehensively defeated Rupandehi Challengers by 92 runs in second eliminator of the Dhangadhi Premier League played at the Seti Zone Police Office Ground in Dhangadhi on Thursday.

Khadka once again proved to be menace to Rupandehi Challengers as his jaw breaking innings shattered their hopes of qualifying to the final for the coveted trophy.

Team Chauraha Dhangadhi will play against Biratnagar Kings, led by Sarad Vesawakar, for the title on Saturday.

Winning toss, Khadka chose to bat and spearheaded the team to make 173 runs, their highest score of the campaign. They later restricted Rupandehi Challengers to meagre 80 runs in 15.2 overs.
