LISBON: FC Porto have appointed Jose Peseiro as their coach until June 2017, the 2004 European Champions confirmed on Tuesday. The club who hit the heights under Jose Mourinho’s reign with their Champions League triumph, fired the previous incumbent Spain’s Julen Lopetegui ten days ago after a series of lacklustre results. Peseiro, 55, had also spent a year at Sporting Lisbon but was most recently in the hot-seat at Cairo giants Al Ahly.
