KATHMANDU: Rato Bangala advanced to the girls’ section semi-finals of the fifth Inter-A-level Basketball Tournament on Sunday.

Rato Bangala defeated British Model College 35-25 riding on 25 points from Grishma Bhandari. In boys’ section, Budhanilkanth, Saipal, GEMS and Rato Bangala registered victories.

Budhnilkantha edged past Nami riding on Sayus Ghale’s 13 points, while Saipal thumped hosts ACE 29-17, Prasanna Maharjan netted 27 points as GEMS thrashed Kasthamandap 57-26 and Rato Bangala routed Orient 51-30 with Sulav Batase netting 25 points for the winning side.
