Rawal off to Korea

KATHMANDU: Nepal’s taekwondo player Nisha Rawal and coach Joe Ho Lee on Friday left for Seoul to prepare for the Rio Olympic Games.

Rawal has earned the wild card entry for the summer games slated for August 5-21 in Rio de Janeiro. Rawal, who will play in above-67kg weight category, is scheduled to undergo 20-day training at four different universities in Korea.

“I will get the chance to train with Korean Olympic players which will help me in the games,” said Rawal.

“Although the training period is short, I will try my best to make the most out of it and do well in Olympics.”
