KATHMANDU: Hosts Rosebud, Universal and Times won their matches of the first Rosebud Inter-college Basketball Tournament here on Tuesday.

In the boys’ category matches, Rosebud took full advantage of the home court and recorded a 65-41 win over Columbus riding on Joseph Maharjan’s 12 points. In other matches, Universal beat Nobel Academy 43-35, while Times thrashed Xavier International 51-39. In girls’ category, Xavier beat Rosebud 36-22 riding on 15 points from Karma Sherpa. Earlier, Rosebud School Chairman Antu Shrestha inaugurated the event.
