LALITPUR: Sainik Awasiya Mahavidyalaya and API School won the titles of the first DAV Indoor Inter-school Cricket Tournament here on Monday.

In boys’ final match, SAM beat API by 17 runs. API the won girls’ category title defeating Ujjwal Shishu Niketan by seven wickets.

Meanwhile, Rajan Memorial’s Sushant Karki was named the man of the series, while API’s Reul Shrestha was declared the best batsman and Aditya Thapa of Ujjwal Shishu was awarded with the best bowler’s award in boys’ section.

Similarly, Khusi Dangol of API was named the player of the tournament in girls’ section, while DAV’s Sneha Maheswari and Sudeshma Bhattarai were adjudged the best batter and bowler respectively.

The event was orgnised by DAV Sushil Kedia Vishwa Bharati Higher Secondary School.
