KATHMANDU: Saraswoti Chaudhary finished first in the selection for the 17th Asian Junior Athletics Championship slated for June 2-6 in Vietnam on Saturday. Chaudhary completed the women's 100m race in 12.6 seconds, while Ashish Khatri came first in men's section in 11.3 seconds. In men's 800m race, Om Prakash Shah completed the distance in two minutes and 11.2 seconds, while Kajal Bista came in two minutes and 45.5 seconds in women's race. A total of 22 players are competing in the selection tournament at the Dasharath Stadium.
