DHANGADHI: CYC Attariya will take on Kathmandu Goldens in the opening match of the Sagarmatha Cement Dhangadhi Premier League here at the SSP cricket grounds on April 9.

Similarly, Rupandehi Challengers will face Kanchanpur Iconic in second match of the day, as per the schedule released by the organisers Dhangadi Cricket Academy on Tuesday.

Biratnagar Kings and Dhangadhi Team Chauraha are slated to play their first match the next day. The final match is slated for April 22 at the same venue.

A total of six teams will compete in the tournament. National cricket team skipper Paras Khadka will lead Team Chauraha Dhangadhi, while Gyanendra Malla is the skipper of CYC Attariya. Sharad Vesawkar is the captain of Biratnagar Kings, while Basant Regmi will lead Kathmandu Goldens.

Similarly, Shakti Gauchan is the skipper of Rupandehi Challengers and Binod Bhandari will lead Kanchanpur Iconic. AP1 television will broadcast all the matches of the tournament.
