NAWALPARASI: Social Empowerment by Empowering Women (SEEW) organised a girls’ football competition and also distributed sports kits to Janak Higher Secondary School here on Wednesday. Founder of SEEW Samjhana Phuyal and Dr Daria Mejnartowicz jointly handed over footballs, nets, volleyball, basketball, badminton, ropes toys for kindergarten kids, and books and stationery items to the School. Founder Phuyal said sports gives girls an opportunity to develop self-determination in a safe environment. “SEEW has been organising various campaigns and programmes to empower women and girls and football competition is one of them.” Mejnartowicz had collected the sports materials and kits from Poland.
