Sevilla beat Real 2-0; Valencia win
Madrid, November 4:
Seydou Keita and Luis Fabiano scored to give Sevilla a 2-0 victory over Spanish league leaders Real Madrid.
Madrid’s defeat was their second in 11 games this season and provided FC Barcelona and Villarreal with the chance to move to one point behind.
The defending champions were reduced to 10 men in the 50th minute when Sergio Ramos received second yellow card.
Also, Valencia cheered their new coach Ronald Koeman by beating Mallorca 2-0. Fernando Morientes scored twice to end Valencia’s three-game losing streak in the league and Champions League.
