KATHMANDU: Kriti Sharma won bronze medal in the sixth Asian U-20 Junior Kurash Championship in Pattaya, Thailand on Wednesday.

Competing in the girls’ 57kg weight category, Sharma faced defeat at the hands of Uzbekistan in the semi-final bout. A total of eight players took part in the weight category.

Other two Nepali players, Bipal Tuladhar and Sher Bahadur Gharti are scheduled to fight on Thursday, informed Nepal Kurash Association General Secretary Pratikhsya Kharel, who is also in Thailand to take part in the Congress of Asian Kurash Federation.
