Binay Kumar Regmi of Nabil Bank defeated Pragyat Bikram Rana of J&T Associates 72-37, 19-49, 67-52, 42-55, 49-39 in a competitive match to advance to the semi-finals of the first Corporate Snooker Tournament, which has been organised by Annapurna Post in association with Hotel Shahanshah, here today.

In other quarter-final matches, Binod Shrestha of Gulf Air beat Anish Bhakta Suwal of Himalayan Bank Ltd 60-24, 53-13, 45-44; Rakesh Raj Joshi of Ace Finance Co Ltd beat Bishal Shah of Himalayan Bank Ltd 51-40, 59-55, 53-68, 28-68, 38-47; and Devan Gurung of Peregrine Adventures outplayed Bijaya Shivakoti of World Link Communications 46-35, 28-51, 50-21, 52-18.
