Bijay Sivakoti, Deven Gurung, Binod Shrestha, Rajesh Raj Rai, Binay K Regmi, Pragyat Bikram Rana, Bishal Shah and Anish Bhakta Suwal entered the quarter-finals of the first Corporate Snooker Tournament, which has been organised by Annapurna Post in association with Hotel Shahanshah International Pvt Ltd, today.

In the third round matches, Bijay Sivakoti of World Link Communication beat Prabin Pant of Standard Chartered 56-33-54-30; Deven Gurung of Peregrine Adventures defeated Deependra Rawal of Kumari Bank 41-28, 64-25; Binod Shrestha of Gulf Air beat Ummeed Shrestha of Bank of Kathmandu 60-32, 11-64, 58-36; and Rajesh Raj Joshi of Ace Finance Co Ltd beat Rajendra Devkota of Kumari Bank Ltd 62-20, 52-29.

Likewise, Binay K Regmi of Nabil Bank Ltd outplayed Ananta Rajbhandari of Himalayan Bank Ltd 49-44, 79-25; Pragyat Bikram Rana of J & T Associated beat Samraj Gurung of Hotel Moon Light 70-34, 65-25; Bishal Shah of Himalayan Bank Ltd defeated Suraj Shah of Nepal 1 Television 52-15, 64-57; and Anish Bhakta Suwal of Himalayan Bank overwhelmed Bharat Bastakoti of Hotel Shahanshah 72-23, 52-42.

Earlier in the second round matches, Pragyat Bikram Rana beat Dakpa Lama of Stamford Student Group 55-41, 43-56, 46-42 and Anish Bhakta Suwal outplayed Rabi Gorkhali of Standard Chartered Bank 57-3, 72-14.
