Kathmandu, January 4:

Himalayan Distillery Limited, the leading distillery in Nepal, is organising the Spey Livet New Year Cup Golf Tournament 2008 here at the Royal Nepal Golf Club on Saturday.

More than 100 golfers are expected to participate in the tournament to be played under Stableford 7/8 handicap format, said the organisers in a release today. The winner of the tournament will be awarded with the Kathmandu-Bangkok round tickets for two, while the runner-upand other category winners will also get attractive prizes.

Himalayan Distillery Limited has been organising and supporting various sporting and other events and all the golf activities at the Royal Nepal Golf Club are supported exclusively by Himalayan Distillery, added the distillery release. The distillery had also organised the Ruslan Vodka Dashain Cup in the recent past, which was sponsored by one of its products, Ruslan Vodka.

Spey Livet New Year Cup Golf Tournament 2008 is being sponsored by the recently launched Spey Livet Premium Rare Whisky.
