Sport Climbing National C'ship today

Nepal Climbing Sport Association and Pasang Lhamu Academy were all set to host the Suman Bhomjan Memorial Sport Climbing National Championship at the Pasang Lhamu Sport Climbing Centre today.
NCSA General Secretary Megh Raj Paudel said that the preparations were completed for the event that features two categories - Lead Climbing Competition and Top Rope Competition.
A total of 25 climbers will compete in Lead Climbing Competition and top three athletes will get Rs 15,000, Rs 10,000 and Rs 5,000 respectively, informed the organisers at a press meet today.
Similarly, 35 players will take part in Top Rope Climbing and the winners of the category will receive medals and certificates.
The tournament, which is being organised in memory of sports journalist Suman Bhomjan, is supported by Ministry of Youth and Sports, National Sports Council, Nepal Olympic Committee, Mountain Sports Federation and Nepal Sports Journalists Forum.
