BRATISLAVA: Russia’s Tatiana Volosozhar and Maxim Trankov won the pairs gold medal at the European figure-skating championships in Bratislava on Saturday after topping the free skating section. The reigning Olympic champions totalled 222.66 points to win the title ahead of Germany’s Aliona Savchenko and Bruno Massot with 200.78 points. Another Russian pair, Evgenia Tarasova and Vladimir Morozov took bronze with 197.55 points.
