Kathmandu, June 6:

Trungram International Academy (TIA) defeated Mansingh High School 2-1 and entered the Group E final of the selection tournament for the Coca Cola Inter-school National Football Tournament here today.

Rajeev Sunuwar put TIA ahead in the third minute, while Bijay Dahal levelled the scores for Mansingh in the 32nd minute. Mohan Limbu then scored the winning goal in the 51st minute.

Also, Tri-Jyoti High School and Bright Horizon Children Home made it to the Group F final after beating their opponents on penalties. Bright Horizon ousted Children Liberty 4-2 after a goalless draw, while Tri-Jyoti defeated Vidhya Mandir 2-1 after a 1-1 draw in the normal time.

In Group G, Gyanodaya High School edged past Diamond English School 2-0 to make it to the quarter-finals. Suman Bamjan scored in the 46th and and Shankar Bhujel doubled the tally in the 58th minute for Gyanodaya.
