Unil replaces Paras

KATHMANDU: Unil Shrestha will replace batsman Paras Khadka in the 14-member squad that will play a three-day cricket match of the ICC Intercontinental Cup and the ACC Fast Track Countries’ Tournament against the UAE at TU Stadium from May 7-9. The national selection committee headed by Bijay Sharma called Shrestha after Paras Khadka, who is preparing for his exams, pulled out of the event. Binod Das will lead the same side that played against Hong Kong from April 30-May 1 in Kathmandu. The rain-affected match ended in a draw. — HNS
