Nepal win three matches

KATHMANDU: Karfu Rasaili scored two goals as Nepal beat Pakistan 2-0 in the

inaugural day matches at the AFC Under-13 Festival of Football in Dhaka today. Skipper Nirajan Malla struck twice in Nepal’s 3-0 victory over Bhutan. Nepal’s third goal

came courtesy own goal from a Bhutanese player. Skipper Malla scored the only goal

as Nepal edged past hosts Bangladesh ‘A’ 1-0. Nepal’s fourth match of the day against Bangladesh ‘B’ ended at goalless draw.

All the four matches were played for a stipulated 20 minutes each. — HNS
