White House enter final:

KATHMANDU: Nima Sherpa top-scored with 18 points as Himalayan White House International College defeated hosts Kathmandu Don Bosco College 47-21 in the boys’ basketball semi-final match under Weeka Talentia 2005 today. White House will face Prime College, which outplayed Xavier International College 69-43 riding on Bijay Gurung’s 25 points. In girls’ semi-finals, Don Bosco beat FW Taylor College 17-7 and will meet Prime College in final. — HNS

LALITPUR: Kantipur Engineering Students’ Council, under the technical support from CAN, is organising the Kantipur Running Trophy inter-technical college league-cum-knock out cricket tournament from February 2. In all, 12 teams from engineering and medical colleges are taking part in the tournament. The top team from all the four pools will advance to the semi-finals. — HNS
