Dhalko triumph

KATHMANDU: Dhalko Taekwondo Dojang won the second Valleywide Invitational Taekwondo Championship here on Monday. Dhalko bagged six gold, one silver and two bronze medals. Layaku Dojang came second with four gold, three silver and four bronze medals, while Boys Union finished third with two gold and as many silver medals. A total of 120 players participated in the championship organised by Matatirtha Taekwondo Dojang. — HNS

Snow Lion wins

KATHMANDU: Amit Gurung ‘Snow Lion’ won the title of the Open Wrestling Championship here at the Mustang Sewa Samaj premises on Monday. Snow Lion defeated Mr RK in the final of the championship. A total of 10 wrestlers took part in the championship organised by Mustang Kaligandaki Youth Club. — HNS
