KATHMANDU: Sano Gaucharan Youth Club (SYC) in organising the seventh Sano Gaucharan Knockout Football Tournament here from January 22 to February 2. In all 13 teams, including two from the organising club will vie for the championship. Winners will get Rs 30,000 and the runners up Rs 20,000. Best forward, midfielder, defender, goalkeeper, coach and a fair play team will each earn Rs 3,000. — HNS

KATHMANDU: Nepal Dandi-Biyo Association (NDBA) its future plans on Sunday. President of the association Bijay Poudel said that the NDBA is set to organise a demonstration game in mid February. He said that the association have made a significant changes in the rules of the game to popularise the national game of Nepal. The association is planning to organise school-level and senior national tournament in near future. — HNS
