South Africa win

Bloemfontein: Jean-Paul Duminy staked his claim for a future in international cricket with a classy half-century in South Africa’s five-wicket win over Zimbabwe on Friday. South Africa were 33-3 in reply to Zimbabwe’s 201-7 when Duminy joined Bo-eta Dippenaar.Together they put on 121 for the fourth wicket before Duminy stumped for 60, made off 70 balls. Dippenaar went on to make 85 not out as South Africa won with 6.1 overs to spare. Earlier, Vusi Sibanda made a half-century to enable the to-urists to post a respectable total. Sib-anda made 51 off 78 balls . Stand-in captain Jacques Kallis and Charl La-ngeveldt and Andre Nel each captu-red two wickets for South Africa. — AFP
