Rina clinches gold

KATHMANDU: Rina Kapali won the girls’ 800m race in the athletics competition organised by Nepal Amateur Athletics Association on the occasion of World Athletics Day here at the Dasharath Stadium on Friday. Sabita Basi and Sharada Bhandari came second and third respectively. Narendra Thapa, Dinesh Raj Sapkota and Shyam Bahadur Khadka claimed the top three spots in the boys’ section. Narayan Mahato won the shot-put gold ahead of Ram Narayan Mahato and Naresh Chaudhary.
