Nepal lose in Turin

KATHMANDU: All the four Nepali participants lost their matches against Slovakia in the 37th Chess Olympiad in Turin. Participated in by 144 nations, Nepal could not even salvage a single draw despite promising starts. Digesh Shankar Malla, who was in the winning position, lost to Timoscenko Gennadij, rated 2482, under severe time pressure.
