KATHMANDU: Siddhartha top-scored with 16 points as hosts Don Bosco ‘A’ defeated CIT 53-37 in the Inter-college Basketball Tournament under the seventh Weeka Talentia, which has been organised by Kathmandu Don Bosco College. In other matches, White House International College outplayed Don Bosco ‘B’ 42-12 riding on Chime’s 12 points; Prime defeated Campion Academy 50-38 in which Bikram scored 17 points for the winners; and DAV earned walkover from Nobel Academy. KATHMANDU: Tenzing scored 12 points as Young Hearts School defeated Guheswari School 35-8 in the quarter-finals of the first Unique Valleywide Junior Boys’ Basketball Tournament, which has been organised by Atulaneeya (Unique) Boarding High School.
