SINDHULI: Runners of Tribhuvan Army Club clean swept the medals of the Half Marathon here on Wednesday.

Karna Bahadur Basnet, Keshab Acharya and Bishwas Baniya of Chandi Battalion of Sindhuli came first, second and third respectively. Basnet took one hour and 17 minutes, Acharya clocked one hour 19 minutes and Baniya finished the race in one hour and 22 minutes. The top three finishers earned Rs 50,000, Rs 30,000 and Rs 20,000 respectively.

A total of 25 runners took part in the competition organised by Kamalai Municipality of the district. The marathon started from Sindhulighadhi and ended at the Chisyan Bhanjyang of Ratanchura VDC.
