POKHARA: Lalitpur-based Ruslan Three Star Club (TSC) defeated departmental team Armed Police Force 4-2 in a tie-breaker here at the Pokhara Stadium on Wednesday.

After a goalless draw in regulation time, the game was decided on a penalty shoot-out in the water-logged pitch today. Despite creating few goalscoring chances, both the teams failed to end their goal drought.

Later, TSC’s defender Ananta Tamang was declared man of the match and bagged a cash purse of Rs 5,000.

Likewise, visiting Cameroon’s Dauphins FC, champions of Budasubba Gold Cup (Dharan), Manakaman Pokhara Cablecar Cup (Pokhara) and Tilottama Gold Cup (Butwal), will take on Tribhuvan Army Club (TAC) in another semi-finals at the same stadium tomorrow for the title showdown with TSC.
