Ajay Kapali scored the solitary goal in the 62nd minute to give United Youth Club a 1-0 win over Bouddha Football Club in the Martyrs Memorial ‘B’ Division League ma-tch here at the Dasharath Stadium today.

United needed a win in their last super league match today to keep alive their faint hopes of winning the league championship. Even a draw against Bouddha would have handed Saraswoti the championship without playing their last match against Brigade Boys Club, on Saturday.

The victory placed United even on points with Saraswoti. Both the teams have now six points and Saraswoti just require a draw to clinch the trophy. All four clubs have already qualified for the ‘A’ Division.
