KATHMANDU: Hosts Wilson ‘B’, Kathmandu Xavier and Sanskriti won the boys’ category matches of the 18th Wilson Hoops Inter-school Basketball Tournament on Monday.

Wilson thrashed Greenfield 52-13 riding in Rasil Manandhar’s 13 points, while Sazir Magar netted 18 points as Kathmandu Xavier beat Holy Vision 40-25.

Also, Sanskriti saw off Rupy’s 32-28 in which Minal Joshi netted 12 for the winners.

In other matches, Pawan Khatri scored 21 as Neric beat Peoples 47-27 and Zenith recorded a 41-36 win against Teresa riding on Ashish Kafle’s 16 points.

In junior boys’ category, Panchayan saw off Holy Vision 23-10 and Neric defeated Baby Angel 34-17.

In girls’ section match, Sushmita Khadka scored nine points as SVI beat Teresa 27-22.
