World-XI team announced for Bat for Nepal charity match
KATHMANDU: The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced the World-XI Team to play in the 'Bat for Nepal' charity cricket match At Kinrara Oval in Malaysia on coming Sunday.
The match is going to be played with the objective of supporting quake survivors of Nepal.
Former Sri Lankan cricketer, Sanath Jayasuriya, will lead the World-XI team encompassing players from different nations, according to CAN.
Rashid Latif, Aminul Islam and Abdul Rajjak of Pakistan, Sohag Gazi of Bangladesh, Steve O’Kiffe and Markus Stainis of Australia, Suresh Nabaratna and Ahamad Faij of Malaysia, Venugopal Rao of India and Chetan Suryabanshi of Singapore are in the team.
It will be a 20-over game.
