LALITPUR: Nepal Wrestling Association on Friday picked up eight players in the men’s national team to prepare for the 13th South Asian Games to be held in Nepal in 2019.

The NWA organised a selection event at the International Sports Complex.

Nepal Police Club’s Dipesh Raut Kamkar (70kg) and Ramesh Gotame (97kg) of Banke were the two new faces who made it to the national team.

Six others, Ram Babu Yadav (57kg), Jay Mangal Yadav (61kg), Saroj Yadav (65kg), Mukhtar Alam (74kg), Sumir Kumar Sah (86kg) and Satyandra Prasad Yadav (125kg), retained their places in the national team.
