SURUNGA: A four-year-old girl, who was hit by a motorbike near Bhadrapur Bus Park along the Birtamod– Bhadrapur road stretch of Jhapa two days ago, died in a hospital this morning.

The girl has been identified as Roshan Pokharel of Bahundangi – 2, according to District Traffic Police Office, Jhapa.

She was critically injured after the motorbike (Me 4 Pa 8682), heading towards Bhadrapur from Birtamod, had hit her two days ago.

She succumbed to injuries during the course of treatment at B & C Hospital, Assistant Sub Inspector Yam Khadka informed.

Police have detained the motorcyclist and impounded the bike.
