Baglung–New Delhi direct bus service from next week

BAGLUNG: The Dhaulagiri Zonal Transport Bus Entrepreneurs Committee in collaboration with Modern Era Tours and Travels Pvt would operate direct bus service from Baglung of Nepal to New Delhi of India from next week.

The first bus would be flagged off for New Delhi from Baglung on September 23.

The bus would leave from New Delhi from Baglung on Sunday, Wednesday and Friday.

The bus leaving from Baglung would travel through Pokhara, Narayangadh and Sunauli border point before arriving at its final station at Mori Gate Baraf Khana of New Delhi, Committee Chairman Kumar Khadka said.

A passenger would be charged Rs 3,200 for one way travel.

The migrant workers from Dhaulagiri in Nepal, Indian tourists, pilgrims, students, professionals and medical patients are expected to be the chief beneficiaries of the bus service.

Hotel Entrepreneurs Association Baglung Chairman Arjun Chokhal said that the Baglung-New Delhi bus service would contribute in promoting tourism.

The Committee plans to start bus service to India's Siliguri and Guwahati in near future.
