Newly elected reps initiate efforts to expand electricity supply in Baitadi

BAITADI: The recently elected parliamentary and provincial members from Baitadi district have set themselves on the path to carry out development activities in the district.

The newly elected representatives jointly urged the regional office of the Attariya-based Nepal Electricity Authority to speed up the construction work of its Motinagar, Giregada, Kataujpani and Patan-Melauli sub-stations.

"Approximately 10 local levels of the district are deprived of electricity. We have initiated efforts to provide electricity access to all local people," Liladhar Bhatta, said an elected parliamentary member.
