Elections in 14 months after solving Madhes issues: Kamal Thapa

HETAUNDA: Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal (RPP-Nepal) Chairperson Kamal Thapa has insisted that all three elections should be held within coming 14-month by addressing the demands of Madhes.

"The government should give a wayout for the implementation of Constitution by addressing the genuine demands of Madhes," said Thapa while attending a gathering of frontline party cadres in Makawanpur today.

Keeping Madhes aside would not enable environment to resolve the country's problems and hold elections, according to him.

"Provincial boundaries of the country were not demarcated on scientific bases, " he claimed, accusing that the State was federated on the basis of the vote banks of the Nepali Congress, CPN-UML and CPN Maoist Centre.

Thapa went on to claim that the RPP-Nepal would lead the nationalist political front in the country.
