PARBAT: Property worth around Rs 500,000 was reduced to ashes when a fire broke out at a grocery store at Khurkot of Kushma Municipality-5 in Parbat district on Saturday evening.

According to the District Police Office, Parbat, the cause behind the fire that broke out at the grocery store of Shiva Prasad Poudel is electric short circuit.

The fire was later taken under control with the help of locals and a police team deputed from the DPO.
