KATHMANDU: A six-year-old child who hit by a tipper in Ratomate of Nuwakot on Monday evening died in a hospital in Kathmandu, police said.

Police identified the victim as Biraj BK of Ratomate.

The boy was critically injured after the tipper (Ba 3 Kha 9134) him at around 6 pm yesterday. He was brought to Kathmandu for treatment.

But he breathed his last at Green City at around 11:45 pm yesterday.

Police have impounded tipper and taken its driver in custody for investigation.
