PESHAWAR: Seven people were killed and 35 others wounded when a bomb exploded outside the offices of Pakistan's premier intelligence agency in the city of Peshawar on Friday, security officials said.

Witnesses said the headquarters of the Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) in the northwestern city was heavily damaged after the blast, with huge clouds of smoke spewing into the sky and debris littered on the ground.

The building was almost destroyed and even a building across the road badly damaged, an AFP reporter said. He saw three bodies lying on the ground.
