At least 3 killed in northern Lebanon in raid on home of suspected militant

BEIRUT:  At least three people were killed in northern Lebanon on Saturday during a raid on the home of a suspected Islamist militant, including two civilians and the suspect, who blew himself up, security and medical sources said.

The raid by security forces took place in the town of Deir al Ammar, northeast of Tripoli. At least 10 others were wounded, including four security personnel. Lebanon has conducted a series of arrest raids since two suicide bombs claimed by Islamic State killed 44 people in Beirut last month
