BoAN goes Far West
KATHMANDU: Bank of Asia Nepal (BoAN) Ltd has opened its 24th branch in Mahendranagar on Thursday. Binod Kumar Pyakurel director of the bank inaugurated the branch in the Far Western Development Region under its plan to expand its services to all the five regions of the country. The bank — in its third years of operation will provide all the banking facilities like personal finance, institutional banking and all modern banking services in the newly opened branch, said the bank.
Prime Bank in Gorkha
KATHMANDU: Prime Commercial Bank Ltd has — to provide the banking service to the rural areas — started its 13th branch along with ATM in Manakamana of Gorkha district. Promoted by scholars, industrialists and bankers, the bank is planning to open more branches in the coming days, said the bank. — HNS
BFL has 10 branches
KATHMANDU: Birjung Finance Ltd opend its ninth and 10th branch Kuleshwor of Kathmandu and Chandranigapur of Chitwan on Thursday. The finance company has posted Rs 34.8 million operating profits in the first six months of the current fiisacal year. “It is an increment by 130 per cent compared with the same period last fiscal year,” said the company. The company has also increased its paid up capital to Rs 420 million from Rs 90 million after issuing rights shares.
