Chopper crash kills 2

JAKARTA: Two people were killed when a helicopter crashed in Indonesia's West Kalimantan province on Thursday, a news report said, quoting local police. The helicopter belonging to pulp-and-paper company Sinar Mas hit a roof of a hospital in Ketapang district before it went down, district police chief Badia Wijaya was quoted as saying by Detikcom news website. The pilot and technician died, the report said. Indonesia, which relies heavily on air links across the archipelago, has one of Asia's worst air safety records.
