Earthquake measuring 6.0 strikes northwest Argentina
A magnitude 6.0 earthquake struck Argentina in the northwest corner of the country on Saturday, the US Geological Survey reported.
The USGS said the quake occurred 131 kilometres (81 miles) southeast of the provincial capital Salta.
