Pak blasts kill two, injure 9

Karachi, August 14 :

Bomb blasts ripped through two crowded bazaars in southwestern Pakistan today, killing two people and wounding nine, police said.

One explosion occurred near a cart selling miniature Pakistani flags for this country’s Independence Day, which fell today, in Hub, an industrial town about 20 km northwest of the southern city of Karachi, police said.

Two people were killed and six hurt in the explosion, police said. A second bomb destroyed a barber shop in restive Baluchistan province, local police official Attaullah Mengal said. Three people were hurt.
