Shaukat Aziz in Thailand

Bangkok, May 8:

Pakistani PM Shaukat Aziz arrived today in Thailand where a fact-finding panel will brief him on conditions in the country’s troubled south.

Aziz, in the midst of a four-nation swing through Southeast Asia, was sch-eduled to meet with his Thai counterpart Thaksin Shinawatra before an audience with King Bhumibol Adulyadej. He will meet former PM Anand Panyarachun, who chairs the National Reconciliation Commission investigating the deaths of 200 Thai Muslims last year.
